Chapter Eleven: My Brielle

Giveon’s POV

Even before her call, I had already felt it, with only one city between us, it was hard to not sense her. Vampire instincts has been known to be the best.

I was sure that by the time we eventually became one, every of Brielle’s breath would be mine.

My Brielle.

“If you don’t come soon, perhaps your girl would be taken away by some shifter that has employed her,” the voice on the other end said and I scoffed.

“All you had was one chore, Ann. If Brielle’s out there looking for some job that should give her everything i already did, it’s only on you.”

While she had sworn her loyalty to me three years ago, I was starting to doubt it strongly now. After all, I only managed to get glimpses of Brielle when I made late night trips to her bedroom window. Or stopped by the cafe she used to work in.

But I was scared to face her. To face this taboo bond between us. While I was filled with desperation on my part, I was also scared of what I would find if I confronted her.
