The terminal was busy with families hugging each other, but Nina had on a dark shade, rolling her suitcase along with her head held high, yet, deep down, her heart was aching that no one came to pick her up.

When she got outside, she finally removed her glasses, squinting her eyes as the sunlight blinded her for a second, and then, she stared at the cab driver, waving at her.

“Ma’am!! Where are you going?” The driver yelled excitedly, walking toward her.

‘For some reason, I was naive to think that at least dad would show up to pick me up… After all, he didn’t care to attend my graduation.’ Nina thought, fighting back tears that were threatening to fall.

Then she smiled at the driver as he helped her with the luggage, and she said, “I am heading to 23rd whitewater street.”

“Ohh… you live on the rich people's side of town,” The driver teased as he escorted Nina to the cab.

When he opened the door, she gave him a friendly smile before entering the cab, closing the door gently.

As soon as the driver drove out of the airport parking lot, she relaxed in her seat and strolled through her contacts, stopping at “Dad” and dialing it.

It rang for a while and then it went off,  making Nina groan, and then she pressed ‘call’ again. But the same thing happened. When she called for the third time, he ended the call.

‘Mom, I miss you.’ Nina thought, looking out her window and watching the scenery pass by as they drove along.

Then she went through her contact again, and stopped at Charles, smiling softly even though he gave her an excuse for not being at her graduation ceremony from her master's degree, he was still the man she was deeply in love with and was about to get married to, soon.

His phone rang for a while before it went off,  making her frown in confusion, and then dialed his number again, but this time, it went to voicemail. After a couple more calls to him, Nina hung up her phone again, sniffing slightly, feeling the tears staining her cheeks as her heart ached.

“Fuck it.” She sighed in irritation, resting her head on the windshield.

Finally, the cab came to a stop in front of the gate with a huge white mansion behind it, and Nina paid the taxi driver generously before getting out.

Taking her suitcase along with her, she slowly walked towards the gate, and the security guards on duty greeted her politely, and let her walk inside.

When Nina got into the mansion, she headed straight upstairs to her room, not caring to check up on Deborah, the head maid of the house.

As she was walking down the hallway with her suitcase, noises coming from Dana, her half-sister's room made her stop and walk over to the door.

“Harder, Charles!! Yes!! Right there! Don't stop. Please don't stop!!” Nina heard Dana scream with pleasure, making her screw her face into a frown. “hit me deeper!”

‘Which one of the ‘Charles’ is she talking about?’ Nina thought, feeling an awful gut feeling that something bad was about to happen.

As Nina reached for the doorknob, she hesitated, wondering if her sister might also have a boyfriend named Charles that she didn't know about, so she stepped away from the door, but her foot felt glue to the floor.

The sunlight glowing through the curtains, Dana darted her eyes away from the window, wrapping her hands around Charles's neck as he kissed her chest, slowly and softly.

A moan escaped her lips when his teeth nipped lightly at her skin, sending shivers through her body and making her feel incredibly weak in the knees.

Then her hips raised to meet his thrust as he took her deep, letting out a low groan of pleasure as she gave herself over to him, her fingers tugging gently on his hair, her legs wrapped tightly around his waist.

"Charles," Dana whimpered, tightening her hold on him, feeling him grow deeper inside her.

"What?" He grunted, his voice gruff with lust, his forehead resting against hers.

It grew silent with only their breaths coming out in heavy pants as Charles pinned her hands above her head and slowly thrust in and out of her.

"Why haven't you broken up with Nina yet, huh? Do you love her that much?" Dana gasped as he continued to pound inside her, his hands moving down from her wrists and trailing downwards until he cupped her ass firmly in his palms.

Impatiently, Dana studied his eyes as sweat dripped off his forehead and onto her breasts as he kept slamming into her.

His face held no emotion, and she felt a sense of anger rise within her as his hand tightened around her bottom and pulled harder against her pelvis, causing her to cry out louder.

“She and my dad are just leeching off my mother's wealth since her dead mother was nothing but a cheap housewife who had nothing to offer him until she died, unlike what my mother has.” Dana let out in annoyance. “So why are you still with her?!”

After a minute of not getting a response from Charles, Dana got annoyed and lashed out, "Are you going to leave Nina or what?!"

A frown marred her forehead as she watched Charles take a deep breath, and his expression was unreadable.

Suddenly, the door burst open, and shortly, Nina stepped inside the room, her eyes cold and her expression stoic as she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Charles naked above Dana's bare body.

"You are so damn unbelievable. My sister?! You are cheating on me with her." Nina said, showing no signs of shock, her tone emotionless.

Her eyes flickered between them as she mumbled in her mind, 'I am such a fool for loving you so hard... for thinking that I could trust you. You broke my heart. You broke my trust in you. How could you?!'

Even though her heart ached at the sight of them being intimate, her mind refused to give her the sympathy she wished, and her face remained emotionless as she stared at him, thinking, 'You don't deserve my tears, just as you don't deserve my love!'

Hastily, Charles pulled out of Dana and turned to look at Nina with a nervous glance in his eyes and got out of bed, approaching her because he feared what his father would do to him about such a scandal.

'I hate you, bastard. Why did I ever believe that you cared for me? Why did I let you hold me?! Why did I allow you to love me?!' Nina thought as she looked directly into his eyes.

"Babe, it was your sister! Well, she's been seducing me, and I..." Charles stammered as he stared into her eyes.

Disgusted by his words, Nina's nose twitched slightly, and she raised her hand, slapping him straight across the jaw.

"We are over. This relationship is over, and you should have told me sooner so that I wouldn't have fallen for a liar, a coward, a cheater..." Nina seethed angrily. "You are nothing but a despicable, filthy bastard!"

"Babe, come on!" Charles begged, reaching for her arm. "Please..."

But Nina pulled her hand away from him and lashed out, "Don't touch me! You don't deserve me. And you will never get the chance I have given you before again! This relationship is over."

Watching Charles beg her half sister left Dana boiling with hate and anger, and her expression hardened as she pulled the blanket over her bare body.

Darting her gaze from Charles, Nina looked over at Dana, her eyes calm, and yet, her heart was breaking at the betrayal from the two people she never thought would hurt her in this way.

"You two deserve each other. Honestly, both of you disgust me." Nina's voice came out strong yet quiet, almost deadly.

Then she stared hard at Charles before turning on her heels to walk away. But she suddenly stopped when her gaze rested on her dad and his wife entering the room.

Embarrassed, Charles grabbed a bedsheet and hastily wrapped it around his waist, avoiding Mr. and Mrs. Simone's questioning gazes.

"What is going on here?!" Mr. Simone demanded, staring angrily at Charles and Dana. "Why are you naked in her room when you are dating Nina?!"

The look of rage in her father's eyes made Dana flinch, feeling her face flush red with embarrassment as she hugged herself tightly with the blanket.

"This is so wrong..." Mr. Simone seethed angrily, looking pointedly at Charles and Dana.

"Mom," Dana's voice quivered, "Please!"

"Honey," Mrs. Simone spoke softly, placing a gentle hand on her husband's shoulder. "I know what Dana did is wrong, but don't be so harsh on your flesh and blood. After all, she is still our biological daughter, and there is no need to treat her like that."

Keeping silent, Nina stared at her stepmother, not shocked that she would defend her daughter because from the moment her mother died and her father married his mistress, who he had had an affair with from the very beginning of his marriage to her mother, making her and Dana only two months apart in age, she had been abused and bullied for years by both mother and daughter, and her father never once tried to help her.

And like always, after hearing his wife's words, Mr. Simone turned to look at Nina with a soft expression, saying, “Nina, you should-”

“Forget it! She can have Charles. I don't give a  crap.” Nina lashed out at her father, hurt that he was about to take Dana's side.

“No. My father is a man of honor, and I can not convince him to break our marriage contract, so I have to marry you, Nina.” Charles suddenly blurted, earning a couple of glares from everyone in the room.

“You must be fucking kidding me,” Nina muttered under her breath.

But her father scowled at her, knowing that the Walkers were an influential and wealthy family, and his daughter breaking off the engagement would upset them.

“Every man cheats... it's nothing new, and that shouldn't stop you from marrying Charles. The wedding is going to happen and it's not up for discussion.” Mr. Simone stated bluntly, crossing his arms and glaring at her. “Do you understand me?!”

“Sometimes I wish that it was you who had died from cancer and not my mother because you have never been a father to me. I don't even know who you are anymore!” Nina snapped furiously.

As his mouth fell open in surprise, the anger within Nina disappeared completely when she realized how cruel her words sounded. But when Mr. Simone raised his hand and slapped her cheek, her eyes widened in utter fury.

Tears filled her blue eyes as she gazed up at him, her lip trembling while she glared up at him for a second before she stormed off.

“You are marrying Charles, whether you like the idea or not!” Mr. Simone yelled after her as she slammed the door behind her.

His eyes immediately fell upon his Savannah, and she felt his gaze on her, but she didn't dare look up from the plate of food in front of her. "Savannah, I need all your car keys and your credit cards, and you should stay away from public eyes for the time being." Mr. Rider said with this unsettling calmness. Anger bubbled inside Savannah as she heard him address her like a child, and she tried not to lash out, saying, "Seriously! You are grounding me! Father, I am not a kid anymore. You can't-" "You live under my roof and earn from my money, you abide by the rules." Mr. Rider interrupted his voice hard. The rest of the family looked up at him, but before they could utter a word, he added, "If anyone thinks that I am being unfair, you can join her in her punishment."
