The Month Long Experiment

When Isadora pulled out of his embrace, her scent dwindled with it. Vincent immediately felt significantly empty and woke up instantly. Like he had been free from an enchantment.

"Ma-master…" Isadora trembled with fear. She looked like a child who had been caught stealing.

She continued backing away, just to make sure she was out of reach.

"I'm so sorry… I don't know how this happened, you have to believe me!" The words came out choked, as she frantically tried to explain herself.

"Shut up, just shut up!" Vincent growled at her, forcing her mouth shut.

It's hard to think with the noise.

He sat up on the bed and attempted to run his hands over his face but the mask stopped him.

It took a few seconds for Vincent to sober up completely.

Instinctively, Vincent surveyed the room and paused at the window.

'It's daybreak? How…?' He thought.

His eyes traveled from the other bed, to the main bed and slowly up a feminine figure… then their gazes locked.
