Gabriel’s POV

I leave Lily in the sitting room, my frustration with today's events still simmering as I head to my room. My mind, however, remains fixed on winning Jasmine's heart. My phone rings, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I glance at the screen to see Shane's face on a video call. I grunt, curious about what he wants, especially since we just parted ways at the hotel. But I answer anyway. To my surprise, Nick and Alex appear alongside Shane, their mischievous grins making me smile.

"What's up, guys?" I ask, sensing they're up to something. I cherish our bond - it's rare to find friends like us who have each other's backs for so long. We share an unspoken understanding: one person's problem is everyone's concern. I know they're worried about me, and that's why they're calling.

"Hey, man, we just wanted to check in and make sure you're doing okay," Shane says, his voice laced with concern.

"I'm good, guys," I reply, kicking off my shoe and relaxing into the conversation.
