Chapter 13

Aidan POV

"This is the information Luna Freya asked me to investigate. She asked me to pass it on to you."

Peter placed a file folder on the desk and turned to leave without even having a sip of coffee.

I stopped him.

"Wait, have you seen Freya recently? Do you know where she is now?" I asked, a ray of hope rising within me.

"I'm sorry, I don't know. I just received an email from her," Peter shrugged and left.

"Have someone follow this man named Peter!" I ordered the butler. “I suspect he is lying.”

Before Freya fell into a coma, she had said she was investigating something from three years ago. Could this be the evidence she found?

I sat on the sofa and opened the file folder.

There was a pregnancy test report and a fertility report with Zoey’s name on it.

I carefully read the contents of the report.

It turned out that when Zoey left me three years ago, she was already pregnant.
