Echo’s POV

My being weak and powerless earned me some spare time, not being drunk blood and just being the lowest rank of all the maids. I did cleaning all day and rested in the basement. Lena and Lexi asked me to work till very late in the midnight, locked the door of the maids’ room and oretended to be deeply asleep. So I had to get some sleep in the basement. Molly never did anything bad on me, but she chose to ignore the other 2 maids treating me really inhumanely.

I never had eaten one meal with hot food, and even food that didn’t go bad. Lexi even made me eat her leftovers that she had spat in them. I couldn’t bear all this, so I had to leave myself hungry. Water was the only thing I could drink for living. Still, I would never change my mind of dealing with all those things. I believed that they were tests for me. I had to persist.

“Hey, Slutty!” Lena called me. She really loved this word.” Come over here. I got something really important for you.” She blinked her 2 little eyes
