They were too late. Too fuckin late. The club they had known for so long since Jack had first built it many years ago has turned into ashes. Bodies of vampires and dead werewolves sprawled on the ground and just near a sofa. Jack was heaving with a beautiful woman beside him. Crying and pressing on his abdominal wounds. Vadim and Armand ran to Jack while their guards goes around to look for survivors or remaining enemies. They bent down and their face was an emotional wreck. If only they had come earlier. “Jack! Jack! Come on, stay with me!” Vadim pulled out a cloth and press it on his stab wounds that are not healing at all. Dark, blue liquid made smudges on his exposed abs and he knew immediately that whatever knife has penetrated his skin was poisoned. Jack was losing blood and his left hand was cut off. Shara, his mate was covered with blood all over her chest and she wouldn’t leave Jack's side no matter what. Even though in pain, Jack who was groaning from it turns his head
Chapter 50 Painful screams fills the underground bunk she was in and Rosa trembled in fear. Hand and neck shackled like a dog on the cold concrete floor and metal fence in the space she was in reminds her of every serial killer movie. Each scream made her flinch and tears wouldn’t stop falling down her cheek. She couldn’t see anything nor can she stops shivering.“How are you doing over there, Rosa?” A voice spoke in the dark and Rosa gasped loudly. Her soul almost left her body when she see a pair of golden eyes in the dark. It glows so widely, that it couldn’t be human. Only when the owner of the eye or Marius pulls the long switch of the bulb above them she can see him.Bars behind him made her realize she was caged. Her blood boils and she tries to stand up and hurt him any way she can but, the shackles pull her back until she coughs from the pain. Nevertheless, she glares at him and screams.“Shackled like a dog? How do you think I should feel?” Marius chuckled. He went closer
~Flashback~“Allocate the humans to safer places. Put more guards near the royal chambers. Lead them and make sure the castle won’t fall, Jakub. I have to check the borders. Vadim is there.” Armand was ready to leave when Jakub held his shoulder and pulls him so they would face to face with each other.“No, Armand. You have to guard the king and queen. I have a bad feeling about these attacks. The queen is sick and only the king is guarding her now. Most guards are already dispatched at the borders.”It was the first time Armand had ever seen his uncle look so worried. “She still is? Goddammit! Father told me she was fine yesterday. I thought her fever subsided?”“He lied. He probably did that to not make you two worried and I understand, but we vampires don’t get sick, remember? Just go and be beside your parents. I have a feeling that the attacks will be focused in their chambers. The king and queen are in a vulnerable state right now.”Armand hesitates for a second. His mind keep
"Your hand is not tied up, right?" Rosa sighed and replied to Ayara. "No, but it's chained to the wall, even my neck." Ayara growled and, hit the metal bars separating them. "Darn dogs. Can you still reach my hand? Though this bar? Can you touch the chains on my back?" Rosa tried to reach out to Ayara's wrist by turning her back to her back and reaching out to Ayara's hand. "Y..yeah. I just can't reach the front gates. Let me take a look at it." Turning around her body so she can look at the handcuffs, Rosa was shocked to see the fuff digging into her wrist and there were burn marks around it. It was still bleeding and droplets of blood even wet his hand. There's a hole where the key is inserted and the metal is pretty thick to be smashed by you seeing how weak you are now. "Oh God, why is your wrist burned like that? It's silver, right? I thought silver only hurts werewolves?" Ayara scoffed. "Exactly and the one thing that could do this sort of damage if the chains are blessed.
A/N: Yet to be edited. will do it soon. Enjoy for now....Rosa was sneaking inside the mansion like a rat. Hiding, running then hiding again whenever there were wolves around. Its odd that none of them could scent her seeing they have actual wolf DNA in them. Didn't matter. Her goal was to find the spot where Marius will meet the so call traitor and when she peek through one of the window, he see Marius and about 50 something wolves behind him. They remind him of the one in Twilight clothes with some wearing wife beater, denim jeans, messy hair and tanned all over. Black and white compare to the vampires. Nothing like the light skin vampire. It was evening and the sky above her was getting darker by the second. It was going to rain soon. She went outside, making sure to avoid anyone sight and hide behind a wall with huge tree covering her. The wolves are waiting for their guest and so did she. leaning on the wall and getting annoyed by the second because she was starting to think
Rosa steps out slowly. She couldn't stop shivering, terrified as the night Matei first found her but, she knows damn well not to show her vulnerable side to these people. The wolves look curious, Marius looks concerned while the vampire with a dozen of his men stood behind him. Smirking. Rosa stood away from both crowds but close enough to observe his features. So familiar. So, so familiar. She knows him. She sees him before and though it was hazy, she remembered a few times who he was closed with. " You... I know you... I've seen you before." She says to him. The vampire grin and his long fangs made her skin crawl. "Pray tell how, my lady?" As if a lightbulb has been switched on in her head. She gasped in shock "Their uncle! Marco... don't tell me.." She knows now. Hyatt... The scary silver hair, red-eye, and scarred face vampire that is always being seen with Marco. When Jack says that the traitor could be someone close to the family... Holy Hell, it was Marco. No way a va
A/N : Not Edited yet. Will do it once I end this story this month. TQ...Rosa was free falling. Her arms and legs spread, the heat of the air currents buoying her body from a dead drop. Loud whooshes of air tugged at her hair.Hundreds of deep whispers reverberated around her. She struggled to open her eyes. But each time she opened them, an intense burning blazed through her.Armand! Vadim!Rosa! She can hear their voice. Desperate, tired and begging - shouting back to her, their voices felt so far away. It felt as if an eternity had come and gone. Where was she? What happened to Armand and Vadim? Her temples suddenly began to throb. Rubbing them, she closed her eyes. She was having a nightmare. Dying and bleeding out. It had been so scary and not having her mates around almost broke her sanity. She hated being alone. It was such a horrible feeling. How is is possible for someone to live like this? She couldn't even remember what happened before this? Why is her memory so bl
Unedited with grammar sh*t but I'll fix it once I complete this book. TQ...The battle ended after it lasted for 45 minutes. Armand genuinely believe that there would be tons of collateral on every side though the one he was concern for was his soldiers. Every one of them... it hurts him and he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep in peace tonight or any other nights knowing these people had sacrifice their life for his family.“Where the fuck did your guy takes her?” Vadim yelled at Hyatt’s face with his fist dripping with blood. His rings has bits of flesh and skin stuck on it after continuously pummelling Hyatt’s face whose hand was nailed on a pillar. No longer was Hyatt as confident and proud as he was before. Vadim remembers vividly the way he would look at vampires who are lower level than him. The disgust and hate he felt for vampires who are turned than born. Bastards forgot how it was Marco who saved him from slavery years ago and he thinks he was indestructible? He can’t wai
