Alaric's Pov

"Hello Edward," Alaric said, looking at Edward with killer eyes. 'I just want to rip him out right now. How could Rodrigo tell him of all people to stay with a child! He's not even sane enough!', Alaric thought to himself fuming. Every inch of him wanted to hit Edward but he held himself back because Colton was watching.

"Hello second daddy" Colton said with excitement running towards Alaric opening his arms. Alaric caught him and threw Colton up mid air and Colton was giggling all through. Alaric rested Colton on his hip bone and asked, " how have you been?"

"Hope you haven't been mistreated anyway by this man?"

"Not at all, in fact he has been taking good care of me , he also fed me well. He's not my dad but he can pass for an uncle if he accepts" Colton said, smiling brightly.

"Oh he would certainly pass, right Edward?" Alaric turned to Edward and asked, giving him a daring smile, Colton also turned to Edward waiting for his reply.

"Y..es ….yes of course" Edward said
