Seth's POV

It's been two weeks and I've finally won over Joy. She told me everything about her work and even facts she would keep normally. I learnt Alaric Dusk was possessive about his wife and vice versa. It occurred to me that, if I take the wife, it would greatly weaken him.

I began to plan on how to kidnap her. Luckily for me, almost a week later, Joy came to me happily saying she would be able to take a leave because her bosses are traveling out of the country for a while.

I tried to get her to spill more information on where they were getting and when they would leave without being suspicious when she got to my place the next day.

I went close to her, wrapped my hands around her and cuddled her. I kissed her forehead and cheeks then rested my head on hers. "You have so much work to do , you know, you would be so busy later on", she said concerned.
