A Trip Out

NICHOLAS POV

I waited in the outer living room until she was out looking gorgeous in her black overall uniform.

"Why am I your knight now?" She asked as she moved closer to me.

"Did you already forget what I said yesterday? I ask questions and you answer not the other way round." I replied and she understood my seriousness by the sound of my voice. I walked out of my Chambers into the private elevator that would take us to the door stairs of the Throne hall.

Murmurs and side talks began as soon as I entered the throne hall with a new knight.

The prime minister and the Luna Dowager were the most surprised by my gesture and I could tell the different reasons they both have.

As usual, the congregation stood on their feet until I was seated with Diana standing beside me and instead of the reason for the meeting, they started questioning her presence.
