Heart-to-Heart

I glanced up at Alistair. Like always, no emotions could be seen on his indifferent face. He showed neither joy nor sorrow and he maintained that unreadable expression throughout the journey back.

When there's only the two of us, he would act crankily and subtly express his feelings in front of me. But since there's other people right now, he didn't express any feelings at all. Like a person who never felt anything in the first place.

For some reason, I felt terrible for him. Because I knew more than anyone, how hard and stuffy it was to always hide your feeling and emotions.
