Third POV

He advanced to the exterior of the palace where he found King Cassius advancing with a troop of military men, helicopters were packed all through the palace grounds, numbering up to eighteen. There were over a hundred soldiers.

At once, he stopped in shock.

“Cassius, what’s the meaning of this?” Fear was supposed to grab him but he didn’t feel it. He believed there’s nothing he can do to him, so he met him with full confidence.

“I want to see you!” Cassius said with a deep breath. Turning to his soldiers, he made a gesture and all of them stood in place. They stood at attention.

“Yes? About your daughter?” He chuckled, rolling his eyes and looking away, placing a bait if Cassius is going to pick up anger. A few seconds later, he turned and Cassius still held the same face.

Frederick cocked his head.

“Do you know anything about her whereabouts?” He asked, voice cold and cool.

Frederick smiled, testing Cassius’ patience the more. “She came with her brutal, crafty Alpha

Third POVReina woke up to the sound of birds singing outside the tall glass windows. The room was filled with soft light, the curtains slightly drawn so that the morning sun could kiss the edge of the bed. For a moment she just lay there, staring at the ceiling, trying to remember where she was. Then it all came back — the mansion, the men, the masked boss she had met only once, and Caseley, the man who always seemed to be around her now. The one she was slowly falling for.She sighed and sat up, running her fingers through her hair. The bed was too soft, too big, too comfortable for someone who had been kidnapped. Every day here felt like a strange dream — trapped, yet pampered.A soft knock on the door pulled her out of her thoughts.“Come in,” she said carefully. The door opened, and there he was — Caseley, holding a tray with breakfast. He walked in slowly, dressed simply in a white shirt and dark trousers. His steps were quiet, almost polite, as if he didn’t want to disturb her

Reina’s POVThe morning light spilled into the wide bedroom through tall glass windows. The curtains were half drawn, letting in a stream of soft gold that painted the marble floor. I blinked slowly, It almost felt like I was back home. But then my heart dropped—this wasn’t home. I had been kidnapped, taken away from everything I knew. How long will this last? I wondered. How long will I be kept here like this, away from the world, away from my life? For days, I had expected to wake and find myself locked in some dark room with chains at my ankles. That was what being a “captive” should mean, wasn’t it? But here, everything was the opposite. I had the softest sheets I’d ever slept on, food that could feed a king, and a man who—despite being feared by everyone—was careful with me in a way I didn’t understand.Caseley.The very name should have set my nerves on edge. People whispered about him with fear, and even my wolf tensed whenever his name was mentioned. Yet, each time he stood be

Reina POVI lay on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. The neon light made soft shadows on the stone walls, and my heart beat heavy in my chest. I still could not understand what kind of life I was living now. One moment I was in my father’s palace with my maids and guards; the next moment I was locked away in this strange place with a man who always hid his face. The mask he wore wasn’t like the playful ones I had seen during royal festivals. No, this one was too real. It was like another face—smooth skin, sharp jawline, steady eyes. But I knew it was not his true face. It was only a cover, hiding who he really was. Each time he stepped into the room, I tried to look past it, tried to see something that would reveal him, but the mask was perfect. And that made my chest ache even more. How could I fight a man whose real face I didn’t even know?Morning was the first full day I would spend with him in the room. He walked in slowly, not with force but with the air of someone who was use

Third POVReina was gently pushed inside by the boss approaching. They failed him Caseley, she heard before and that’s the name she would be addressing him as if she ever needed to address him that way. “You aren’t permitted to stroll through this mansion yet.” He said to her, ignoring Marco who stood there glaring at her, unable to assist her. Caseley was his boss, whatever he says stands. He just bowed and left. He knew Caseley was either going to take care of Reina or assign someone to take care of her. He’d prepared some snacks for her himself. Surprisingly she slept right after eating the food. Caseley needed more time to think of how to deal with her. It would take hours for her to wake up, perhaps two to three, by then he was set to finish his discussion with his men. Reina woke up later slowly, her body stiff and her throat dry. The room around her was quiet, too quiet. At once it dawned on her, she wasn’t in the first room she found herself after she was abducted. Her bod

Third POVKing Cassius had not slept a wink. For two nights in a row, his chest burned with rage, his heart restless as if a fire had been kindled inside it. Reina was gone—his daughter, his blood, the only thing that softened his otherwise hardened life. Though he had been a stern and distant father, though his rule had been iron-fisted, he could not deny the gaping hole left by her absence.“I need to see Calder,” he repeated. King Frederick smiled. “You want him, I’ll lure him out. You can do whatever you wish to him but don’t disrupt my event.” “Patience, Your Majesty,” one of his guards came forward and whispered into his ear, bowing his head. “The prince will come.”Frederick left his side and walked into the back door of the arena. Cassius didn’t answer immediately. His gaze was fixed on the entrance of the arena where the event was going on. Beyond that entrance lay the courtyard where Calder, the suspected Alpha prince, would be summoned by King Frederick. Frederick had pr
