As we pulled up to the party, I was completely taken aback. I couldn’t understand how the scruffy nobody at the back of the class, who slept more than studied, could live in such a beautiful house. I knew instantly that his parents must have been loaded. The sprawling detached house was at least four times as big as my parent’s place.
