Aurelia's POV:

“Luna,” a voice called out to me as I walked about the settlement, playing with children. Realizing that it had been a while since I last visited this place, I came by to relax. This place was as close as I could get to calling home.

I turned around and was surprised to see Adrian standing there.

“Adrian? Yes?” his gaze moved to my hand which was clasped with a tiny soft hand of a four year old boy before meeting my eyes again.

“Nothing,” he blinked away, “I was just surprised to see you here,”

“I’m as surprised to see you here,” I chuckled. “Are you on patrol or something?” I questioned.

“No I’m not,” he smiled, “Just walking,”

Narrowing my eyes, I said, “You look upset,”

“It’s nothing,”

“Well, you can talk to me. I won’t tell anyone…swear upon Moon Goddess,” I said but seeing the hesitation in his eyes I quickly added, “You don’t have to obviously,” I shook my hands in the air awkwardly, “I was just wanting to lower your burden because you seem really upset. You don’t
