Genesis's POV

They were beautiful, I couldn't believe my eyes. They were nothing like the dull flowers back at my former estate.

The garden stretched endlessly, vibrant and alive. Red roses, yellow sunflowers, white lilies, daisies, gardenias, every flower I could think of was blooming. Their sweet scents mixed in the air, making my nose tingle.

People were scattered around, trimming leaves, watering plants, and carrying small baskets filled with freshly cut flowers. The soft rustle of leaves and birds singing made everything feel... peaceful. Like a place where pain couldn't reach me.

I wanted to stay here forever.

And when I meant here, I meant exactly where I stood, the small patch of perfectly trimmed grass under my feet. Without realizing it, I had slipped off the soft yellow fuzzy slippers my husband had bought for me. The grass was cool and gentle, soaking into my skin like a silent comfort.

I hadn't even noticed the gazes I was drawing from the gardeners and workers passing by

Kier's POVWhere the hell had she been running from?My gaze locked onto her trembling form, then drifted down to her bare feet. No slippers?I adjusted my glasses, the thick-rimmed, large-ass ones I'd been forced to wear since Damon and Leo were hellbent on making sure I didn't scare the new little wife with my bruised-up face. The glasses did a good job hiding the evidence, even if they made me look like some wannabe professor.Still, I didn't mind playing nice... for now.I stopped in front of her, towering over her small frame. She wouldn't meet my eyes, her fingers gripping the edge of the door like it was the only thing holding her up. She reeked of fear, and I found myself fascinated by it.Not in a twisted way. I loved women, or more accurately, I loved what they could give. Most of the ones in my circle were just pretty faces with sharp tongues and ulterior motives, so I learned not to get attached. But Genesis...The way her pale toes curled into the marble floor, the way sh

Genesis's POVHe was different?Scary... but different."Here, you can have this."Daisy's small hand stretched out, holding a chocolate toward me.I took it tentatively, my fingers barely brushing hers. My eyes flicked to my husband from the corner of my eye, half-expecting him to snap or snatch it away. But he wasn't even looking at me.His attention was entirely on Daisy, a small smile playing on his lips as if he hadn't just caught me trembling against the door minutes ago."We'll eat it like this," Daisy continued, her voice soft like she was explaining something very important. "You will eat one chocolate... and then I'll eat one... and then you again... like that. How do you see it?"I just stared at her, the words floating in my head without landing. She tilted her head, waiting for an answer I couldn't give.My throat felt tight.Say something...But nothing came out.Daisy's smile wavered for a second, and panic stirred deep in my chest.I wanted to nod, to do something. • The Womanizer's Mute Wife    The Girl Who Watched

Kier's POVShe kept me at a distance?Of course, what could we possibly talk about when she couldn't even talk? But still…I glanced down at the curly head resting on my thighs. Deidre had fallen asleep watching Frozen for the hundredth time. At this point, with the amount of time she'd watched the damn cartoon, they might as well cast her in it.“Daisy,” I called softly. You could never be too sure with her, one minute she'd be snoring, the next she'd be standing at the arm of the couch, staring at you like a little ghost. But when her lashes didn't even flutter and her soft snores continued, I knew she was out for real this time.I caught sight of a maid passing by and motioned her over.“Hey,” I called.I didn't know her name, and I didn't like that. Sure, I'd fired the others for their incompetence, but I'd known every single one of them. Their names, their families... hell, even their dog's name if they had one.The girl stopped beside me, her hands clasped in front of her.“What

Genesis's POVI was awake... but I couldn't move.Nothing was holding me down, not physically, but the person lying next to me was the one keeping me captive. He was asleep, his wide, muscled chest rising and falling steadily. My face flushed at my own thoughts, but how could I not notice? He was right there, so close. And he was asleep.I didn't know if I should move. Did I have permission to? Morning light peeked through the blinds, casting soft streaks across the room. I could hear faint birds chirping outside, signaling the start of the day.Still, I remained frozen.Nothing had happened... again. How were we supposed to make children if he wouldn't touch me? The thought worried me more than it should, but I quickly pushed it to the back of my mind.Right now, all I could focus on was him.My husband. He was handsome, too handsome. When he was awake, his bright blue eyes always carried a smile. Like the whole world couldn't bother him.But there was something beneath that smile.

  • The Womanizer's Mute Wife    Writing for Him

Genesis's POVBy the time we left the house, my stomach was all tied up in knots. Any minute now, I felt like I was going to throw up, but I'd rather eat my own hand off than do that. If he hadn't hit me for all my misdeeds before, he definitely would if I threw up all over his sleek black carSo, I sat stiffly, my back straight against the seat. The only sound between us was the low hum of the engine. My fingers twisted and untwisted in my lap, fear gnawing at me.This would be my third time outside. The first was the court, but it was just people I knew. The second was the clothes place, but they took us to a private room, only him, the girl with the measuring tape, and me. My anxiety hadn't reared its head too much then. But this time... this time was different. There might be people. Strangers. Eyes.If they saw me... if they saw my scars in this dress... they would know. They would whisper."Look at that strange freak."Just like Mark always said. I was a freak.“Stop panicking.”

  • The Womanizer's Mute Wife    Little Rabbit

Kier’s POV"I'm still waiting."She glanced at me from under her lashes, then quickly turned back to her book. I smirked, amused. She was effortlessly cute, every action, every little twitch. It was almost ridiculously adorable.A few seconds passed before she lifted her head, but she still wouldn’t look at me. Her eyes remained fixed on the book, and when she swallowed, the sound echoed in the silence of the car. Even in the cold, a faint sheen of moisture glistened on her temple. She was nervous."Can I see?" I asked, knowing she wouldn't hand it over unless I asked. She was too scared. Of what, I wasn’t sure.Slowly, she nodded, picked up the book, and handed it to me, still avoiding my gaze, despite my earlier instruction. I let it slide.Taking the book, my eyes fell on the words written inside. I blinked, surprised. This was... definitely not what I had expected. One thing had become clear over the past few days, my little wife was a mystery. A puzzle. And I loved a challenge.S

  • The Womanizer's Mute Wife    Spellbound

Genesis's POV"Right here, Mr. Blackwood," a lanky man in a wine-colored shirt and jeans said. I looked up at him, noticing the easy smile on his face as he spoke to my husband. But when his gaze shifted to me, awe flickered in his eyes.I quickly looked away, pressing my face against my husband's torso."Look away," Kier said, his voice calm but firm. The man cleared his throat awkwardly, nodded, and turned to lead us toward a large, red-colored door.He pushed it open, and my mouth fell open in surprise. Rows upon rows of seats stretched across the vast, empty hall, yet not a single person was inside. It was only then that I realized something odd—aside from this man and the one who had given Kier popcorn and soda earlier, I hadn’t seen anyone else around.I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn’t even notice we were moving toward the seats until kier spoke."Where would you like to sit?"His voice startled me. I turned to him, my pulse skipping as I realized he was staring down at

  • The Womanizer's Mute Wife    A Fire Ignited

Kier’s POVYou could ask me what the damn movie was about, and I wouldn’t have an answer. But if you asked me what I noticed about my wife?I’d have about ten things to say. One: she had four tiny birthmarks—just little dots—on the left side of her neck. How I even noticed them in the dim lighting of that fucking cinema was a question for another day. Two: she always bit down on her lips when she was concentrating, like right now. I was sure she had completely forgotten I was even here. And there were more. I could keep listing them. And why I did this? I had no idea. But I couldn’t deny it anymore—I was getting attracted to my wife. She wasn’t my usual type. Yeah, I didn’t know how many times I’d said her face was beautiful, but a pretty face alone never got me as hard as a rock for a woman. That was just one part of it.And yet, here I was, hard as a damn brick, and it was freaking me out.I had spent days wondering how I’d be able to knock her up when I couldn’t even get it up for

Genesis’s eyes blinked open, greeted by darkness. The room was shrouded in shadows, the windows completely covered by thick curtains. She looked around, but the blackness made it impossible to see anything—or anyone.Panic stirred in her chest. She immediately climbed out of bed, but the speed at which she moved made her stagger. Her heart began to race. She hated the dark. It reminded her of that place. With trembling hands, she bent down and fumbled for the bedside lamp. Her fingers found the thin rope, and she gave it a sharp tug. Warm light flooded the room, pushing the shadows away. She exhaled, shakily, her breath catching on relief. She was in their bedroom. But Kier was nowhere in sight. As she stepped forward, something small slipped from beneath her dress and hit the floor with a soft clink. Genesis looked down and saw the vial. She immediately bent and snatched it up, holding it tightly in her hand.Monica had given it to her. A bitter little secret in a glass bottle.“Take

KIERShe mustn’t know what happened last night. She stared at the smudge like she was trying to understand it—like her mind was racing to place it somewhere safe and failing.I shouldn’t have come back like this. I should’ve cleaned up. Taken a second to think, to breathe. To be better. But I wasn’t.And now, she was staring at me like she didn’t recognize me. Like I was someone else entirely. She looked like she was breaking.I reached out to her again. “Genesis…”Her breath hitched the moment my hand touched her shoulder—and something in me shattered. Not just because she flinched—God, she flinched—but because I saw it in her eyes. She wasn’t here. Not really. So I stood. Her eyes followed me, wide and wary, like she was bracing for something. Preparing for impact.I dragged a hand through my hair, staring down at her. She looked scared… so damn small. I wanted to wrap her in my arms, protect every inch of her.But first, I needed to take care of this mess.I made my way to the rest

GENESIS"Genesis," he called.I turned toward the door and saw him standing there—shirtless. My breath hitched. He’d notice. Quickly, I looked away and pressed my face into the pillow, wiping my eyes. He mustn’t find out. He mustn’t.When I was sure the tears were gone, I stood up from the bed. But as I turned around, he was already in front of me. His hands gripped my shoulders, his face carved in fury. What had I done?Did he find out?Or… was it something else? Was he going to hit me?"Who did that to your face?" he growled, each word gritted between his teeth. One hand brushed over my cheek. I opened my eyes and met his gaze.My face?“Who the fuck hit you?”Oh. That.Monica had slapped me. It was normal. I’d stepped out of line by telling her no.But why… why was he acting like this?Without another word, he turned away, striding to the nightstand. He grabbed my book and pencil, then came back and placed them gently into my hands."Write it down," he said, nodding toward the page

  • The Womanizer's Mute Wife    Aftermath

KIERMy eyes blinked open, and I looked up to see a strange ceiling.“Fuck, where am I?” I croaked, grimacing. Why did my mouth taste like I ate something sour mixed with liquor? As I tried to stand, a flash of images and loud words exploded behind my eyes.“The king is back. Give him more,” someone shouted. Then, I opened my mouth, and a woman—her face fuzzy—poured a drink into her own mouth and then into mine. That wasn’t all. Hands were roaming around my body, lips on places like my neck, my mouth.Flashing lights. Bodies grinding together. Then it all vanished as quickly as it had come. I pressed my hand to my forehead. Definitely a hangover. I leaned against the headboard, blinking, trying to clear my mind. After a moment, I opened my eyes and took in my surroundings—and groaned.Three naked women were sleeping on the bed.“Damn… what happened last night?” I muttered.I vaguely remembered going to the Opal Noir club, but the rest was a blur. How had I ended up like this? Sleeping

  • The Womanizer's Mute Wife    Complicated Alliances

KIERThe office was empty, everyone else had left for the night. My PA had gone home hours ago, and I was still working. I glanced over the Norwood files and made a note for tomorrow. I sent a message, brief and to the point: 'Have the Norwood files finalized and on my desk first thing tomorrow. No mistakes. I’m not dealing with this again.’Immediately that was done, I looked over the other files I had been sent. Tomorrow, I had a meeting with a small startup company—bright-eyed, underprepared, and probably hoping for a miracle. They wouldn’t get one. If their pitch wasn’t solid, I’d shut it down before the coffee cooled. I didn’t entertain weak ideas or wasted time.I skimmed their proposal, red-lining the fluff and circling the numbers that didn’t add up. They were trying too hard to impress, which usually meant they had something to hide—or nothing at all. Either way, I’d find out by morning. The clock on the wall blinked past ten, and I sighed. I wrapped everything up, shut down

  • The Womanizer's Mute Wife    The Price of Escape

Monica Candell stepped into the house and breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, she was out of the scorching heat. She hadn’t been able to take her car, since she could no longer afford the expenses it required.Taking a deep breath, she glanced around the large living space. Her stomach churned at the thought that her stepdaughter was now living in such a luxurious environment, while she and her children were stuck in a house they could no longer afford to even keep the AC running. She looked around again, but the large living room was empty. Then she heard voices followed by a loud clang. A twisted smile crept across her face. In her mind, she hoped Genesis wasn’t enjoying herself here either. That alone would make her day. And even though she didn’t hear any crying, she didn’t mind—her stepdaughter couldn’t make any sound anyway, so wouldn't be able to hear it, she thought with glee.Clearing her throat, she turned the corner and spoke just as she rounded it. “Genesis, mother’s home.

GENESISHe stood up so abruptly from the chair that it startled me, and in an instant, all eyes turned to him.“Excuse us, but we have to take our leave. So sorry about this," he said, and without waiting for a reply, he grabbed my hand. His grip was firm but not painful as he pulled me along, weaving through the tables without slowing down. I stumbled to keep up, my heart racing and my face burning with embarrassment. The weight of curious, judgmental stares followed us, whispers brushing against my skin. When we finally pushed through the large doors and into the empty hallway, he didn’t stop. Not until we were outside the mansion, where the air was filled with blinding lights and flashes. Large men quickly surrounded us, ushering us into the car.Only then did he release my hand.He turned to face me, his jaw tight, his chest rising and falling just a little faster than normal. His eyes dropped to my body, lingering on the way I fidgeted, trying to pull my dress lower, even though

KIERI leaned against the wall, a smirk on my lips, amused as I watched my wife’s eyes dart around, searching for her panties. She must have forgotten I had taken them.It was mine now, though.“Looking for something?” I asked, and she turned around, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. She could barely look me in the eye.“What are you looking for?” I asked again, and her blush deepened. She pointed to her middle, silently telling me it was her panties.I faked a gasp. “Did my wife just lose her panties in a public bathroom?” I pushed off from the wall, moving closer to her. She pointed at her legs, then at me, and then at the air—meaning she took them off, I took them, and must have thrown them somewhere. Now they were lost, and the frustration on her face was palpable. But I just kept smiling.“Do you know how embarrassing this is?” I teased. “What if someone finds your panties... and then sniffs them?” As I spoke, her head snapped up in horror, and I nodded, loving the reaction.
