Wendy had been attacked by the crowd for some time, and Roxane was no match for them as well. Since Sarah was gaining ground for the third Marshall son’s family, Wendy went along with it and demanded Javie to kowtow.

“I… I didn’t say…” Javie took a step back with a pale face.

Sarah ignored the crowd. She helped the Old Mistress up with a smile and said softly, “Grandma, you’re suffering from high blood pressure. Remember to take your meds on time, and don’t get angry too much.”

Meanwhile, Roxane was not letting Javie and Jamie off easily. “Javie, you did say it and everyone heard it. Are you trying to deny it?”

“W-Who heard it?” Javie said as her gaze swept past everyone. It was clear that she would not tolerate anyone who testified to that.

The crowd was quiet.
