I stepped into the pack with a heavy heart. i just hope i find a good life here. or maybe they treat girls with respect more than boys? well i just need to enter with no one noticing and then i will maybe come across a house i could spend the night in.

As i stepped further into the forest i could perceive many scent of trees and probably the lake but there was a particular scent that kept me moving. it was a delicious scent of chocolate and sandalwood. my legs keeps going directly to the scent and i couldn't help searching for what was carrying that scent.

I heard ruffles of leaves and i snapped my head to the direction only to be met with a pear of green ones.

" mate" i whispered without even realising i have said it. and i could feel Waji happiness from deep inside my mind. well i could hear him saying the same thing too.

I kept wondering what we were doing in the forest, even when i kept asking Luca he keeps saying it has been long we went for a walk and that we are supposed to.

well i couldn't blame him, he was my only friend since childhood and he was always there for me so that was why i made him beta immediately i was given the alpha of our pack.

" Luca do you really think we should keep going farther" i asked worriedly. not because i was scared. no never i was a fucking alpha and i cam never be scared. i was just not okay living the pack like that especially if it was not for something important.

"you dont have to worry man.. i got you" he replied tapping my shoulder before moving deep into the forest.

As we got deeper into the forest, i began to feel something i had never felt before. It started with a strong scent of strawberry and coconut and then it was as though i was being drawn to a particular direction.

" hey man where are you headed to?" Luca asked curiously.

" I dont even know i just... my feet keeps taking me there" i said. Moving deep toward the left direction.

And then my eyes saw her, a little she wolf. my gaze caught hers and i couldn't stop looking at her deep blue eyes.

"Mate" i heard her say not knowing that my lips too whispered the same word.

I approached her in steady steps and she moved back at every step i took.

" its okay i wont hurt you what is your name" i asked still walking towards her.

She flinched before clearing her throat.

"Mar.....i mean Alex... Alex Erasmus.. that is my name" she said staring at the floor.

'Alex' was she a man...but...but...i was not a gay? why would the moon goddess do something like this? giving me a mate who was not a girl. I've waited all my life and this is what i get? how do i start?.

was fate playing a prank on me? but she had a girl face.. my eyes went down to look at her clothes.. i didnt even notice the clothes . he was really a boy. well i just had to reject him and i will probably be given a second chance mate.

" woah woah woah.... man you didnt tell me you found yourself a beautiful angel" Luca said coming closer as he stared at him.

" Its not an angel.. he is a man" i replied with a frown, glancing at him as i saw him pouting and fondling with his finger. which guy would pout? not to talk of playing with his finger like a baby.

" And he's my mate" i added Turning to face Luca.

" you are joking right??... like how is she your mate? Luca asked surprised.

" its not a she is a he"i replied getting annoyed with his questions. he sure knows how to ask questions.

" Well Alex what are you doing in my pack?" i asked now turning to face him.

W...well..i..i.. my park ......got...burned" he managed to stutter out. and the resume pouting again.

" yo man are you really listening to this? he has a voice just like a girl and which boy pout?" Luca concluded.

At the mention of pout she composed herself and stood firm.

" well i dont know all i have to sat is this is what the moon goddess gave me and am gonna reject him right away" i rushed coming closer to him.

"Dont you dare man... she is a girl that i can bet you" Luca said cutting me short.

" Luca are you blind cant you see his clothes his hair?"

"Will you trust me on this? come lets take her to the pack and then you can see for yourself" he added dragging me away not before telling her to come along.

We approached the pack house and i could hear his steady steps from behind. why was he so slow?. i Turned to look at him when i noticed him limping and then i felt a pang in my heart seeing him so vulnerable.

" Are you okay?" i asked worriedly waiting for him to walk to where i was standing. Luca is already far ahead of us, saying he could not walk so he turned to his wolf and ran.

" mmmm" he hummed nodding." I...I am fine" she added.

" No you are not. . do you need help? should i carry you?" i asked not realising what i said.

he hesitated as though he was thinking of something before he shook his head. I didn't fail to notice how his cheeks reddened. What kind of a boy flush when just asked if he needed help.

" You sure you are fine?? you are barely walking you are too slow" i groaned.

" uhhmm S.. sorry ...i...ii... fell..d..down" he fumbled still pouting.

Well i wouldn't deny i like the way he pout. its cute.

what was i thinking am i beginning to like a boy? but Luca keep insisting she was a girl which i couldn't believe. well i could hardly see her breast.

' you naughty boy' kyle finally said.

' Man you finally came around i thought i will never hear you' i answered him.

He refused to talk to me ever since i told Joe that he was not going to go anywhere.

i dont know what kind of relationship they had but Joe was my brother so why was he getting worked up just because i told him he was not going out.

' well because we are one.. your brother is mine' he mocked.

' kyle... did you see our mate?? why were we given a boy?' i asked still not sure if he will answer. he always does this he doesn't answer important questions i tell him..

' Well she's fucking beautiful' ... cant wait to mate her' he replied happily.

' Are you deaf he is not not a girl' i said rolling my eyes at him.

' well its up to you' he whispered and he disappeared back into my mind.
