Don't I deserve a second chance?

As soon as Adan steps on the first stairs of the helicopter, Yamileth starts running with full speed but is late as the helicopter is about to take off. By the time she reaches them, the stairs begin to roll back into the helicopter and the door gets closed.

She stands there as she watches how she missed again for the second time.

"Don't I deserve a second chance? Why is life punishing me? What have I done to deserve this kind of treatment? Just kill me already! Kill me!" Yamileth bursts into tears on the top of her voice as she cries so hard that they can hardly hear her because of the strong noise created by the helicopter.

Yamileth cries so hard as her hair is blown away as is her clothes. From inside the helicopter, Adan can see her and sense her bitterness. He feels life has punished her and he is only adding to her pains. He doesn't know what exactly is going on with her but he believes that she must have suffered a lot in lying for her to say those words which he can barely be
