Antonella had an inexplicable expression on her face. Her gaze grew distant, and Benjamim's declaration lingered in her mind for several seconds.

She fought hard not to show him how shaken she was. She swallowed all her frustration and forced a smile onto her face, pretending to be happy with the news.

“Alessia is pregnant.” A wrinkle of doubt appeared on Benjamim's handsome face as he noticed Antonella's reaction: “That's great news. Finally, you'll have what you've always wanted—heirs.”

The words irritated him. Benjamim was sick of hearing everyone say that, as if having heirs was the only thing that mattered. His expression turned blank as he finally realized that Antonella didn’t care who he was marrying. Her indifference wounded him deeply.

“You're saying you don’t care?” He shoved both hands into his pants pockets and walked toward her. “You're happy for your sister, the same one who ruined your marriage with me?”

Antonella felt her body freeze as he approached. She questioned w

Benjamim’s face twisted, and he seemed like someone else. At that moment, his eyes dropped to the floor, and all the light drained from them, filled with dissatisfaction.“I didn’t cheat on you,” he said, taking a deep breath, feeling like his heart would stop at any moment. “I know I should have told the truth, but I didn’t do anything with Helen.”“Your lie was already a betrayal.” Antonella made an enormous effort not to cry in front of him. “You said you were working and then went to the hospital with her.”Her voice had hardened so much that it felt like two hands gripping Benjamim’s neck, squeezing until he had no strength left to continue.“I know what I saw,” she went on. “You should stop lying to me and confess what you did.”His eyes suddenly lifted, and he saw the disappointment in Antonella’s gaze. How could he reverse this situation when she had already made her judgment?“I don’t remember what happened,” he said, trying to justify himself once more, hoping she would unde

As if her life had been torn away instantly, Antonella stood still, looking at Benjamim, knowing she would barely remember what happiness felt like after that day. When she left the house, she knew this would happen. Benjamim had lied to her—why wouldn’t he betray her?He moved, and when his eyes opened, and he saw Antonella standing at the door, he got up, and Antonella ran. Benjamim tried to catch up to her, but Dominique stepped in front of him, stopping him.“What do you think you’re doing, Dominique?” he asked, looking at her as he used to do before he fell in love with Antonella. It was incredible how everything changed because of love.“She needs to calm down.” It felt strange for Dominique to touch him, especially with Benjamim nearly naked in front of her. “And you need to calm down, too.”She took a step back and looked at Helen, who was pretending to be embarrassed. Dominique knew she was pretending because, deep down, she was celebrating what had just happened.“May I ask

Second night without Benjamim. As she tossed and turned in bed, Antonella couldn’t bear looking at the space beside her, especially with the feeling that Benjamim was hiding something from her, growing in her chest every minute.Antonella got up, restless. It was already four in the morning, and dawn was approaching, yet he hadn’t returned. There was no point in trying to sleep—she wouldn’t be able to until Benjamim came back. She put on her sandals and decided to go downstairs to have a glass of water while scrolling on her phone, hoping it would make the time pass faster. Just as she reached for her phone, it buzzed. Her heart froze at the notification that lit up the screen. Benjamim’s name and Helen’s appeared in an incomplete message from a gossip channel. A few days ago, Antonella decided to follow those pages to know exactly how to defend herself against them. She hadn’t received any notifications for some time. She realized her hand was suspended in the air, frozen, as if she

When she felt the sun warming her face and its rays making it difficult to open her eyes, Antonella turned to the other side of the bed and was disappointed to find the spot empty. It wasn’t even seven in the morning, and Benjamim had already gotten up to go to work. She dreaded going downstairs and finding him there with Helen. That image had turned almost into a nightmare. Antonella would hate to have to see her husband with that woman again. She was about to get up when the bedroom door opened, and Benjamim came in with a large breakfast tray, walking toward her with Adam hiding between his legs.Adam’s little eyes sparkled as he looked at her, as if he were thoroughly enjoying this. A genuine smile appeared on Antonella’s lips as she watched the scene and wondered if she might be dreaming. Adam ran over as soon as Benjamim signaled, and he jumped into Antonella’s arms.If this were a dream, she would never have wanted to wake up.“What’s going on?” she asked, now lying on the bed

Benjamim made his way home, thinking about how he would tell Antonella that he would spend the night at the hospital with Helen. She would never accept such a thing—Antonella wasn’t that understanding. What was the point of risking his marriage just to help Helen? Since when has he become so soft-hearted?But the memories Benjamim had of Helen’s mother were still vivid in his mind. For a long time, she had acted better toward him than his mother, Carlota. It was that woman who helped him become the successful businessman he is today. Helen’s mother had taught him everything he knew.He owed her this. Would Antonella understand? He parked the car in front of the house and leaned his head back. Antonella wouldn’t understand or accept it, and she had every reason not to.He got out of the car, and as soon as he opened the door, he was greeted by a hug from Adam, who ran up to him when he heard his footsteps and threw himself into his arms. It felt good to be welcomed this way. He even fo

  • The billionaire's secret son   Chapter 167

There was no excitement from Antonella upon hearing the lawyer. To her, it didn’t matter who Adam would be with or who would have more control over his life. Now she was married to Benjamim; they were a family. She could see her son every day; Benjamim loved her, and nothing could separate them. But Benjamim was engaged in the conversation and seemed excited about the possibility of returning custody of his son to his mother. Perhaps he didn’t understand that now, married to Antonella, it didn’t matter who had more responsibility, but Benjamim had made a promise, and he intended to keep it.“The judge has scheduled a new hearing for fifteen days from now,” the lawyer said, handing the document to Antonella. “Be prepared, Antonella.”She said nothing; she just smiled and watched him leave, but Benjamim noticed her behavior, and as they walked upstairs, he questioned her.“You don’t seem excited about getting Adam’s custody back,” he observed, and she didn’t look into his eyes.“Adam is
