But right after signing up, my father got ill, and all the money went to his medical bills, and my mother didn’t want to dip into my college fund, so I had to give up on my dream.
I was so bummed the whole month because I would not be able to travel to the city, until Daniela surprised me, she had saved all her pocket money and paired with the money she got for her good achievements at school, she decided to pay for my trip.
I was so excited I wanted to cry. Dani had always been a great little sister to me and bringing me to tears with her kind gestures was her common occurrence.
My classmates and I were beaming with joy. I was so nervous, and we did our best not to ruin the experience.
