I had my phone in my hand when Elena kept calling the previous night. I didn't want to speak to her because I had no time to entertain her or give her the attention she loved getting.

So I ignored her… but after speaking to her at the moment, I realized I shouldn't have ignored her.

“You what?” I sprang out of my couch once her words came from over the phone and I heard her breathing heavily while the sound of things smashing followed too.

“Sophia! She fucking did this. She told my parents everything and now, they have disowned me. I'm no longer the CEO either. All because of her and that bastard called Aiden!”

She screamed frantically while she kept breaking things and I could sense how angry she was. We both never saw this coming so her reaction was valid… especially knowing that Sophia was the cause.
