“What!?”

They both looked back to her standing behind them. She had this straight face and a scowl took over when their eyes met. Braylon took steps towards her trying to cover what she had obviously just found out.

“You deceived me for your own cause?” she asked as disappointment swapped in. “No, you have to understand. I…I can explain things to you,” Braylon tried to hold her hand but she shifted away from his touch.

She looked at him one last time regretting. All she had done was waited and longed for him for the past five years thinking he loved her and he would come back.

A drop of tear rolled down from her eyes. Braylon started to realise he was a jerk. He could feel how sad she was and the feelings of betrayal in her eyes. He could see that at that moment nothing he says would make any difference.

He stepped away from her, looking away from her. She scoffed and wiped away her tears, sniffing. “Do you love me?” she asked but got no response from Braylon.
