CHAPTER SIXTY ONE ‘The end of us’ EDITED
When I woke up I felt much better and healed, the cave was warm and I was having a nice daydream- Laying in Cameron's lap next to the fireplace and the scent of his body engulfing my nostrils.
I wouldn't ask for anything else.
“I wish it wasn't a dream” I said longingly as the invisible hand caressed my face.
“I wish I came for you earlier.”
My breath hitched when I heard his imaginary voice in my ears.
“Please..” I said, “Please don't ever leave me alone.”
“I-i would never, ever leave you again, my love, I'm here.”
I smiled, “That is good.”
I closed my eyes again and when I opened them, Cameron was staring right at my face.
I was stunned. Was this real?
“Cameron..” I whispered trailing my fingers across his cheeks. “Are you real?”
