The quietness in the room seemed deafening as Zane took a few steps backward, breathing heavily, trying to stay calm, and looking anywhere else except the doctor who was sitting in front of him.

“Did you meet with Damion before coming here?” Zane asked the second he could control his emotions again, forcing himself to breathe normally to prevent another emotional outburst.

soooo they really fell inlove but why he has deborah, whats her role in this?? and if Damion was a big shot back then, he will know who was the traitor in his household, even if Zane's mom never introduce Damion with her exfiancè, he will eventually know who it is or was since there will be clues
