I swing on the hammock in our court room as the thoughts of the moments in the court lingered in my mind.

Truly, I had loved Lucien, but I can't deal with the fact that he is cursed. He had been cursed yet he refused to tell me during our dating phase. I wanted power, money, fame but his curse would limit that for me and I couldn't deal with it.

I got to know about his curse through his half brother Cassius that very night of our bonding and since Cassius promised me all that I have always wanted, I rejected the bond that very moment.
