Lucien's p.o.v

"Enough, Axel. Stop screaming at me because of that homine like she didn't make me do it in the first place," I bellowed at my wolf as I parambulate inside my room in my manor. "She could have just said no like I asked her to before the marking and I'd just have to accept my fate of being mate less till my death. She shouldn't have embarrassed me like that in front of that... God! I'd scratch his skin off his face if I can."

I could feel my breath skyrocketing and my mind seething instead, as my wolf try to calm me down.

Seeing Freya walk down that isle was literally everything that very moment. Her body movement, large hypnotizing eyes, lips and luxurious, full and dark hair was just pure perfection. I felt Axel smile pleasingly knowing the moon goddess hasn't only blessed me with a mate but a beautiful and captivating sight to behold.
