I walked into the house to find Adrian already there before me, but I didn’t care about being late or getting caught by him after sneaking out. I had more important matters to discuss with him. Like a certain green-eyed feline who trailed after me into the house looking all too innocent. Who would believe that this sweet-looking fur ball had just incinerated six demons? I had seen it with my own eyes and still, I couldn’t believe it.
Adrian raised his brows at me as he saw me walk in. But on seeing that I didn’t sport the guilty expression I was supposed to have, he looked confused. He turned to look at Morris who looked all too satisfied with himself and a look of realisation dawned on him.
