Milo pov

The pain was so intense, like someone was trying to pry its way to my head. But as soon the pain came , it disappeared like it had never come.

I looked at the group again, but this time, with weary eyes. I locked eyes with the one in the middle who continued to stare at me with his hawk eyes. He is slim and the taller one in his group of four. His mouth carved into an evil smirk.

I shuddered uncontrollably. I suddenly felt like I was being stared by a dangerous lethal blade. Like I was a prey, while he was a predator.

Warning bells rang in my ears, and I immediately averted my eyes. I made a mental note to steer clear from the group of four with their psycho leader.

We continued moving deeper into the building into a quieter hall than the bustling square. displays of different pack sigils lined up the corridors like trophies.

My heart clenched at the thought of my packs, sigil being among the trophies that might line up here in the nearest future.
