The Visit

"Sister.." Mia muttered and tears uncontrollably poured on her jowls.

"My sister." Juliet trotted towards her and she threw herself in Mia's arms she grasped her firmly like an anaconda grasping its prey, "I've missed you so much sister." She shed tears on her neck and she moved from her arms holding Mia's hands.

"Why haven't you come to my mansion to visit me since three weeks you returned from Brazil?"

Juliet's eyes drooped spotting Mia's eyes and cheeks somber she stroked her cheek, "sister you look so unwell."

"I know." Mia ambled to the sofa and crouched on it. Juliet crouched beside her. Mia sighed and tears prickled her eyes, "it's the tumor I have. It's depleting me." She sniffed.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Juliet patted her lovingly on her arm.

"I don't know what's more painful? This cancer or my husband having an affair?"
