Cami took me on a motorcycle.

Motorcycle? Since when did girls like Cami ride motorcycles?

Maybe before I didn't make it very clear what Cami was like. She was tall. Much taller than me. She had a very good figure, that is, she was good. Point. Next to him, I looked like the garbage you remove from your feet when you wear sandals in summer. He had an especially pretty and smiling face. Her blonde hair fell in soft waves that looked like they were made by a professional hairdresser. I wondered if he could fix my head nest. Shook my head. He was a hairdresser, not a sorcerer. His eyes were not quite blue but seemed to mix with a light gray. In front of me, I had a model girl. Those girls don't like motorcycles. Pink car hits them.

Me and my precious prejudices.

He handed me a helmet and I raised my eyebrows. A black helmet with patterned flames was what I least expected him to give me. Maybe flower rose or ... I don't know, but I swear not something like that. I think he sensed something from the way she was looking at him because he burst out laughing.

-In the mafia, we are all the same, Samantha. It does not matter if you are a boy or a girl, you have to show that even if you look sweet, deep down you are just as deadly as a person who shows his danger. Or worse.- she added with a smile perhaps too dark for my liking.

- Okay- I shrugged- I think girls are more than pink dresses and perfect nails- I don't see your behavior as strange, it's just that you look like a cool girl.

I bit my cheek inside my mouth. I was sounding like a real idiot. I was going to give G back for sure. I sighed. I was digging my grave myself.

- Really?- She looked at me with wide eyes and I could see that within all that assassin side of her, inside was still the girl with wide eyes trying to please people. That girl that was me.- Nobody had ever told me that. But in what sense?

-Well ...- Did you seriously not realize that the entire heterosexual male population would stop to look at you from top to bottom? Did he have visual problems? .- You are beautiful. You dress well. You have a pretty smile- I rolled my eyes. This was another Cindy in my life. - You don't realize it?

- Now that you mention it, no- she laughed- But it's very nice of you. Come on, let's get going before Hunter and G decide to come to this area and drag you out themselves.

I nodded and got on the bike with her. Was beautiful. Gigantic. A part of me, the least corny, was in love with intimidating motorcycles. They made me feel special. As if climbing them was higher and more intimidating. I know it's a stupid feeling, but I liked it. The few moments when I felt somewhat superior were the best. When I got on, I realized something. It was still in Hunter's shirt. Without pants. I blushed. She looked like a whore. Or a madwoman who had run away from her house at night.

- Cami ... I'm not wearing pants.

- Ah!- she shook his head and fastened my helmet as if it were not important. Maybe most of the girls kidnapped by the mob were dressed just like me. Weird.- Nothing happens. We will not be on the bike for long and within the city, I cannot run much.

I held onto it and it took off. You said we couldn't go very fast in the city, right? I think the concept of speed varies from normal people to gangsters. Gangsters... That word sounds a lot worse than it is. We were flying. I think we overtook several planes. Well, maybe the latter is a little exaggeration. What I mean is that we were able to crash about twenty times, but Cami seemed to have a perfect command of his bike. She was sure she had underestimated the blonde.

We stopped in front of a house that looked like a mansion more than a house. They're mobsters, I reminded myself. Millionaire people don't live in flats like mine. The iron gates that guarded the entrance were opened and she entered with the motorcycle. He parked right outside the door. Two men in jackets left the house instantly. They were huge. Could they be Cami's bodyguards? I guessed yes. One of them helped me down when he saw me try to get down holding the bottom of my shirt. Luckily he picked me up and left me on the ground, because if I hadn't fallen there in front of everyone. I was 100% sure. I smiled at the man and saw myself reflected in his sunglasses. He did not return the gesture. Man, bodyguards have to be serious, but this one was being a bit of an idiot.

Cami tugged at my hand before I could say anything to that man. I imagined that she had realized my intentions because she was smiling with amusement. At least it entertained someone. My things were at the entrance. I opened my eyes wide and crouched down. They were my bags, of that I was sure. What were they doing here? I looked at Cami with a frown. What was happening?

She did not explain but continued walking towards the stairs. I practically followed her running. The last thing I wanted to do was stay alone in a house full of dangerous people. No. It wasn't that stupid. We stop in front of a room. It was wide. The bed was nice and looked comfortable. I was tempted to jump on the cushions, but my sense of propriety prevented me. A shame She would do it later when she was alone.

- Do you like it?- I nodded. How could I not like it? - It's beautiful.

-It's your new room. This is my house, by the way- she sat on my bed and smiled. I sat next to him.- You will see, I am the daughter of the "Boss". - she smiled at me again as if what he had said before had been something quite normal.- My cousin has been the one who brought your things. She bit her lip as if debating whether to tell me something. "Hunter is my cousin- Okay. This was not what I expected at all- Sam, breathe. He's not coming home, okay? He has brought it to make you feel more comfortable and for you to write. He told me that you are a writer- Didn't you spin the themes too fast? - Writer of romance novels. What is your name as a writer? - His gaze seemed to be lit with gasoline.

-Well ... I'm JE Secret. It's the worst name in the world, I know, but my great editor was the one who gave it to me. I just asked him not to be my real name. I mean, who's going to take you seriously if you go around saying you write erotica? Look at me.- I pointed to myself.- I'm still young. Maybe in the future, I want to dedicate myself to something else or change the genre of writing. I do not know. I just know that I don't want people to look at me and say: "She's the one who writes dirty novels" - I laughed out loud. I had heard a lot of comments from those.

-J.E Secret... Are you the one from the thief saga?

I nodded. The best thing he had written so far. My popularity came from those books. I had managed to create the man of many women's dreams and as a reward, my books had been sold like hotcakes. The saga had stopped. I had to write the last volume, but couldn't find enough inspiration. I didn't want to say goodbye to that character so soon. 3 books with him had made me love him.

- Oh my God! Seriously? I love them! I have all the books. When are you going to get the last one? In the end, does he stay with the thief or the policeman? - I smiled. It sounded like the fans he had met thus far.

-The truth is that I have not started to write it yet. I have to finish a story to get it published as soon as possible and then I'll get to the last one. I've had a hard time getting inspired- I sighed- Do you know? I don't feel like ending that saga. I think I'm going to miss writing Zane.

She nodded and pouted. Another who was going to miss my favorite protagonist. At least the girl who was going to keep it I liked. She wasn't sure if she was going to let him finish off Zane the thief or Peter the cop. He had to think about it a little more. They were both perfect for my girl. I would have to invent something to fix this.

-Well, I'm going to tell the idiots to bring your things up to your room. Rest while. Tonight I will introduce you to my father. She squeezed me on the shoulder and left the room, closing the door behind her.

It was too much for me. I settled into the center of the bed and snuggled into the cushions. I didn't even cover myself. I sighed and little by little without realizing it, I fell asleep.

I woke up with a start. I felt eyes on me. I sat up instantly and put my arms in a karate-defensive stance. Cami was sitting at the foot of the bed. He laughed at me and held me out on my laptop. What...?

-Start writing while I look for a dress for tonight. We go to the theater first. Dad loves going to the theater before talking business. Then we will go to dinner at one of the many restaurants that belong to the family- She wore her hair in an informal bun, and it was still beautiful.- The story ends. I'll be back to fix you in an hour- she winked at me and left. What..?

I shrugged and did what he asked. Between her and Gracie she knew she was going to deliver this story soon. It was the last chapter. I could do it. That hour I was typing non-stop. He knew that if he stopped then he would have to extend this torture and that was worse. It was difficult for me to put that they were married, and even more that they had children. I was gonna throw up with so much love. Yes, I know. I was very bitter. When I finished I was about to throw the laptop to the ground, but I managed to control myself. I sent Gracie the story. AT LAST! I lay back on the bed, this time happier. But the tranquility did not last long, because Cami entered carrying with her a hanger with dresses and several bags.

- Are you finished?

I rolled my eyes.

- Yeeeeees!- She clapped and screamed down the hall: IT'S OVER! More applause sounded from outside. Great.

-Come on, now it's time to choose a dress, come over. - I looked at the gazillion dresses put one after another.

The mafia knew how to torture in many ways.
