Julia's body was washed and dressed in preparation for her burial. She had asked to be cremated and her ashes poured into the same river just like her husband.
Phoebe had not taken her seriously when she made the request, she had not expected her to die so soon and suddenly. The series of misfortune that had befallen them over the past months made her numb.

CZAR PRESENT-DAY The land would heal, Balthazar was convinced about this. He had faith in himself, his luna, beta, council, and natives. The purification ceremony went without any hassle. Incantations were made by the enchantress, homage was paid to the gods of the land and the moon goddess. As the alpha of the pack, Balthazar was made to sit on an ancient stool carved out from an old oak tree where rituals were made, and the goddess and gods consulted in the past till now.
