Chapter Fifty Seven

At the location where the wooden shade was, the guards there couldn't help but hear the sound of gunshots far from them.

They wondered if their boss and their fellow guard had encountered enemies or if it's a wild animal that got shot by one of their fellow guards.

"I'm sure it's a wild animal," One of them said, shrugging his shoulders and leaning close to their vehicles.

"We're in the forest. We get that sometimes," Another said, believing it's a wild animal encountered by one of their fellow guards.

The third hummed and asked, "What if we're being attacked? What then?" The guard lifted his gun up to his chest, looking at the others.

"We would have been informed to take the position. We have a walkie talkie for crying out loud," Another guard said, rolling his eyes at the third guard's question.
