POV Tyler

What the hell was my father talking about? I had killed the Parkers two months ago, and what is my father doing here?

"Emily, go to your room, now!" I said seriously, and she looked at me, confused, not understanding what was happening.

"No! What do you mean? What did you do to my parents? They're innocent!"

"We didn't do anything, right, son? That's exactly why I'm furious!" Paul said through gritted teeth, sitting in the armchair in front of the living room.

"What are you talking about?" I raised my eyebrows suspiciously.

"They escaped!" my father answered angrily.

I heard those words in disbelief. How could they have escaped? I kept one of my men to kill them, and he had told me the job was done.

"You tried to kill my parents?" Emily spoke with a shaky voice.

"Are you stupid by any chance?" Paul looked at her angrily, and I knew what he was about to do.
