"Was it truly a baby?" I questioned, feeling both confused and fearful that I could have been responsible for my child's death; I would never forgive myself for that.

"No, it isn't! It still exists, although the girl bled significantly. The blood was from an internal hematoma, which can pose risks for both her and the baby. We'll keep her here until the vital signs of both return to normal. After that, we'll discharge her so she can go home. We'll keep you updated on her case," the doctor explained, reading the exam results as if it were the most ordinary thing in the world.
