CHAPTER 5:HE COMES BACK

I spent the rest of the day trying not to think about the kitchen.

It didn’t work.

Every time I sat down I felt the ghost of his hand between my legs. Every time I swallowed I felt the place where his mouth had been on my neck. I changed into a different hoodie. I put music on. I tried to study. Nothing helped.

By the time the house went quiet that night, my body was still wound tight.

Richard’s office light stayed on until almost midnight. When it finally clicked off, I heard his footsteps go down the hall to the master bedroom. The house settled. Pipes ticked. Somewhere outside a car passed and then silence returned.

I told myself I would lock the door.

I didn’t.

A little after one, it opened.

Josh stepped inside and closed it behind him without a sound. He was still in the black sweatpants from earlier, still shirtless. The only light came from the streetlamp outside my window, painting one side of his face silver and leaving the rest in shadow. His gray eyes found me immediately.

“You’ve been waiting,” he said quietly.

I sat up in bed, heart already racing. “I wasn’t—”

“Don’t lie to me.” He walked over slowly, stopping at the edge of the mattress. “You’ve been wet since the kitchen. I could feel it then. I can see it on your face now.”

I swallowed. “Josh… Richard’s home.”

“I know.” His voice was calm. Almost soft. “So you’re going to be quiet. Like a good girl.”

He reached down and pulled the covers off me in one motion. I was only wearing an old T-shirt and underwear. His eyes dragged over my legs, my hips, the way the shirt had ridden up.

“Take them off.”

My hands hesitated.

Josh tilted his head. “Now.”

I hooked my fingers in the waistband of my underwear and slid them down. The cool air hit me. I felt exposed and already aching.

He made a low sound of approval. Then he climbed onto the bed, knees on either side of my thighs, and looked down at me like he had all night.

“You left me hard in that kitchen,” he murmured. “Walking around the house with my cock throbbing because you were dripping on my hand. That was rude.”

“You walked away,” I whispered.

“I did.” He leaned down, bracing one hand beside my head. The other slid between my legs without warning, two fingers pushing through my wetness and sinking inside. I gasped. He curled them immediately, pressing against that spot that made my back arch. “And now I’m back. So you’re going to take what you were begging for earlier.”

He worked his fingers slowly, deeply, watching my face the entire time. The wet sound of it was obscene in the quiet room. My hips moved without permission, chasing the pressure.

“Listen to that,” he said, voice dark with satisfaction. “Soaked. Just from me talking to you. Just from me almost kissing you.”

I bit my lip hard, trying to stay silent.

Josh pulled his fingers out, wiped them across my mouth, then pushed them past my lips. “Taste.”

I did. Salt and heat and me.

He shoved his sweatpants down just far enough. His cock sprang free, thick and already leaking. He dragged the head through my folds, coating himself, then pushed in with one long, relentless thrust.

The stretch burned in the best way. I choked on a moan. His hand clamped over my mouth instantly.

“Quiet,” he growled against my ear. “You make noise and I’ll stop. Understand?”

I nodded under his palm.

Josh started fucking me in deep, controlled strokes, each one bottoming out. The bed barely made a sound—he was being careful about that—but the wet slap of skin on skin still filled the space between us. His free hand pinned my wrist above my head. His mouth found my neck again, biting down over the mark he had left earlier.

“This is what happens when you walk around my house acting like you’re not mine,” he whispered harshly. “I remind you.”

I was already close. The angle, the pressure, the way he kept grinding against my clit on every thrust—it was too much. My thighs started shaking.

Josh felt it and laughed under his breath, mean and pleased. “Already? Pathetic. Come on your brother’s cock. Do it quiet.”

He drove into me harder, sharper, and the orgasm ripped through me so fast I saw white. My cry was trapped under his hand. My body clenched around him in helpless pulses. He didn’t stop. He fucked me straight through it, chasing his own release with short, brutal thrusts until he buried himself deep and came with a low, broken groan against my neck.

For a few seconds the only sound was our breathing.

Josh stayed inside me, forehead pressed to mine, gray eyes almost black in the dark.

“Next time you lock that door,” he said quietly, voice rough, “I’ll break it.”

Then he pulled out, fixed his sweatpants, and left as silently as he had arrived.

I lay there in the dark, legs still trembling, his cum already leaking out of me onto the sheets.

And the worst part was that I already knew I wouldn’t lock the door tomorrow night either.

  • Theirs to ruin    CHAPTER 8: MIDNIGHT KITCHEN

I shouldn’t have come downstairs again. It was past one in the morning. The house was silent. Sarah had been asleep for hours. Josh’s door had been closed since midnight. I only wanted water and maybe a piece of bread. Something simple. Something that didn’t involve thinking about the way Richard had been watching me all week.I never heard him.One second I was standing at the counter in the dark, glass in hand. The next, a solid body pressed against my back from shoulders to hips, pinning me lightly to the edge of the counter.I flinched hard, a sharp breath catching in my throat.“Don’t scream,” Richard’s voice murmured near my ear, low and calm. “It’s only me.”I froze. He was warm. Broader than Josh. The hard plane of his chest against my shoulder blades, the solid weight of him. And lower—unmistakable—the thick, heavy press of his cock against the small of my back, already hard through the fabric of his sweatpants. My first instinct was to shove away. My body didn’t move.Richar

  • Theirs to ruin    CHAPTER 7: THAT MIDNIGHT

The days after the conversation in Richard’s office felt heavier.I tried to avoid him. It didn’t work.Every time I walked into a room he was already there, or he appeared a minute later. His eyes found me too quickly. They stayed too long. At breakfast he asked about my sleep. In the hallway he asked about my classes. In the living room he asked if I wanted tea. Normal questions. Harmless. But the way he looked at me while he asked them made my skin feel too tight.I started answering in short sentences and escaping upstairs as soon as I could.Josh noticed, of course. He found it funny. One night he pinned me against my bedroom door and whispered, “Daddy’s watching you now,” while his fingers worked between my legs until I came with his name trapped behind my teeth. Then he left me trembling and went back to his own room like nothing had happened.I hated how much I still wanted him.I hated even more that Richard’s attention was starting to feel just as dangerous.---That night I

  • Theirs to ruin    CHAPTER 6:THE LOOK

I almost made it to the stairs.Richard’s voice stopped me in the hallway.“Eliana. Come here for a minute.”He was standing in the doorway of his office, one shoulder leaning against the frame. The late afternoon light coming through the blinds cut across half his face. He had taken off his jacket at some point. His white shirt was open at the collar, sleeves rolled to the elbows. He looked calm. He always looked calm. That was what made it worse.I walked over, keeping my expression neutral. “Yeah?”He didn’t move aside to let me in. He just studied me for a moment, then stepped back and gestured toward one of the chairs in front of his desk.“Sit.”My stomach tightened, but I did as he said. The leather chair felt cold through my leggings. Richard closed the door with a soft click and walked around to his side of the desk. He didn’t sit. He remained standing, looking down at me.“You’ve been quiet the last few days,” he said.“I’ve been busy with school.”“Have you?”The question w

  • Theirs to ruin    CHAPTER 4: RESISTANCE

I didn’t hear him come in.I was standing at the counter, pouring leftover coffee into a mug, still half-asleep in one of Josh’s old hoodies that I pretended I hadn’t stolen. The house was quiet. Sarah had left early for a weekend trip with her friends. Richard was locked in his office on a call. For once, it felt like the walls weren’t listening. Then a warm body bumped into my back.“Jesus—” I turned, nearly spilling the coffee.Josh stood right there, close enough that I could smell the soap on his skin. He was 6'1", all lean muscle and easy arrogance, wearing only black sweatpants that hung low on his hips. His chest was solid, abs sharply cut, skin warm-toned and lightly tanned. A few water droplets still clung to his collarbones from a recent shower. His dark brown hair—almost black in this light—was damp and messy, falling over his forehead in loose waves. The sides were cut shorter, clean. A thin pale scar cut through his left eyebrow, and the usual shadow of stubble already l

  • Theirs to ruin    CHAPTER 3: GIRLS' NIGHT

I shouldn’t have invited them over. But after everything with Josh and the way Richard had looked at me that morning, I needed something normal. Something that didn’t involve locked doors and bruises hidden under long sleeves. So I texted Chloe and Maya and told them to come over after dinner. Sarah was out with her book club again. Richard was working late. Josh was supposed to be at the gym.I thought we had the house to ourselves. We were spread out in the living room—me on the couch, Chloe cross-legged on the floor with a bowl of chips, Maya scrolling through her phone on the armchair. Music played low from the speaker. The lights were dim. It almost felt like old times.Chloe stretched her arms over her head and groaned. “I swear, if one more guy sends me a dick pic with no warning, I’m deleting every dating app. Like, at least say hi first.”Maya laughed. “You’re one to talk. You sent that thirst trap last week and then got mad when people responded.”“That was art,” Chloe shot
