Chapter 40: You are not invincible not to die
I am awakened by voices – an angry voice I must add. I see myself lying on a white bed with a white surrounding. Some machines are attacked my body and I see this IC catheter connected to my wrist. I feel too weak and I can smell that foul scent of medicines hospitals emit.
“Torture those men and get them to talk! Who dared do this to my granddaughter? I can’t let this slide after just finding her.” I can hear grandpa’s angry voice from behind the closed door of the room I am in.
I take off the oxygen mask in my mouth and slowly sit in the bed. I look around the place trying to regain my strength.
“Calm down father, your heart.” The soft soothing voice of my mom calms my grandpa who sounded so furious.
