I've lived a long, long time. Many things still surprise me. The Queen and I have lived a relatively mundane and happy existence for 300 years. I consider her a great friend and I suppose at one point a lover.
All this time and I've never encountered such a strange series of events and I am a witch! A great powerful witch. No one knows this, I am the rightful witch queen.
I didn't want that life, I wanted freedom. The freedom to do as I will and let nature lead me, to discover the world and all it's power. I denounced my claim a long time ago and handed the throne over to my husband.
Yes, I was married once. He was a fair man. I grew up with him and trusted him completely. The marriage was one of convenience. It was no great love. My near rule, is lost in history.
I set off on a journey. I travelled many kingdoms. My thirst for knowledge was unquenchable. To be free to mingle with other species and the learning of different magics

I'm running through a beautiful meadow, giggling with my lady, Princess Claudia. A true vision in her elegant cream dress embroidered with flowers, against her light skin. Her hair is blonde, almost like woven gold.I hold a coveted position in court. Being a lady-in-waiting to the Princess Royal, is the highest position bellow the queen's ladies. I will, no doubt be married off to a noble suitor soon. Claudia is promised to a distant kingdom and my father would not allow me, his only daughter to go off with her to an exotic new land.To him I am no more than cattle to be sold to the highest bidder. You see prior to me obtaining this position. My father was a king. Due to his treaty with this kingdom, they allowed us exile after the rebellion in my country.My father is now a Duke. With the lower title and abiding to another kingdom, king and their laws. He has grown resentful and cold. He should be grateful we weren't slaughtered in the uprising.

I walk down the large hallway and I hear it, those awful whispers. Leading me to him. My vines are swirling on my skin. They just had to mention him. "Come, come closer". Slowly I'm being pulled out of darkness. Light flashes every so often. I need to go to the light. I reach out but I can't seem to grasp it. I hear distant voices. I can't seem to get out of this darkness. I hear his voice "I'm here" I call out "please help me". I feel the tingling sensation on my hand. It fills me with warmth. I'm able to move. I can grab the light, It's at my fingertips. I'm so close I can't taste it.With a jolt and large intake of air, my eyes fly open. Everything is vibrant. The colour is like nothing I've seen before. I look down at my hand. My skin is so pale. I sit up far too quickly that my vision blurs. When my eyes adjust and he is there, face to face with me. His eyes are black but glimmer back at me. In my 200 years, I've never felt so strong. I feel power flowing through me. I gesture to a guard to open the main door. He shakes his armoured head but obliged. I haven't been able to sleep in days. He keeps popping in my head. I have not missed his voice, not one bit. If he's not rambling or taking me down memory lane, he's sending erotic images. I'm unable to satisfy my needs, now he is somewhat back.I can't touch anyone else. I tried to sleep with Dante the other night but the moment I touched him, I felt repulsed.
