By the time I returned to home,it was already the lunch time and what shocked me more or I say worsened my already sour mood.

I found Mr. Edward Ashton sitting on the living room sofa with crossed legs and a stone expression while his eyes were zeroed on the T.V. screen.

I spotted Maya standing next to him.She threw me a stare of pity while murmuring something to him,I guess she told him about my arrival.

He diverted his attention from television to me.His cold blue eyes bore into mine sending a shiver run down my spine. We hadn't really talked much after the reception. I only shared my pleasantries when we visited the Ashton residence for the dinner.

"Good afternoon Mr. Ashton."I greeted him with a polite nod of my head.My feet stopped in the center of the square living room.
