I blinked blankly a couple of times. Still blown away. She herself, wasn't confident about what she had just said. I stood behind the double glass doors with my hands folded and watched the rain fall. It was right after breakfast. I was still in my pajamas and gown. I mean, why look good when you won’t be going anywhere? I just combed my hair back, didn’t even tie it up or anything. I watched the rain pour and pour. It felt therapeutic, made me feel calmer. I don’t know how long I stood there but when my room door opened, I was brought back to the room.
