“This has not been an easy week…” Francis started conversation after almost half an hour of silence.

“It has…” I said, sighing and then looking out of the window.

“I’m sorry though.” He told me.

“What for?” I asked him.

“The village. I mean I just saw such great potential in that place and these people were not even using it.”

I shook my head. “No Francis, that’s their home. You have no right to decide how you think it should be used. How it is is how they are comfortable living. What you did was so inhumane… but… it’s done already.”

“That’s why I was apologizing.” Francis told me. “And here I am trying to make it up to you by being on your side after every thing.”
