John remained standing where he was, and even though he was smiling, his smile did not reach his eyes.

“Aqua, come with me.”

He was not the type to drag people around. He only extended a hand to Aqua and looked at her eagerly.

Meanwhile, Will could not keep his emotions under control. “Aqua, you’re so cruel. You left on my birthday! Have you forgotten just what you’ve promised me?”

Aqua scowled.

What did she promise? Celebrating his birthday with him every year?

But he was the one who asked for it. She was not the one who offered it.

As she stared at the two men who came to visit when it was midnight, her attitude turned even colder. “If you have no other business with me, please go back.”
