"That's what I'm talking about" Emma grinned then closed her lips to kiss him.

He kissed her back and found his way into her mouth. They kissed till her back touched his door.

Emma put her hand behind her and twisted the door knob. The door opened and they entered, still kissing.

The next morning, Ivy woke up and crawled out of bed. She didn't know how she slept off because she kept thinking about her life and how she was going to move on with it.

Ivy touched her face and pouted her lips. She walked to the dressing table and checked her face, the fingerprints of Tarquin had vanished.

She sighed and removed the dress she was wearing. She didn't change into her pajamas yesterday. She was devastated and couldn't do anything but cry.

Ivy undressed and went to the bathroom to freshen up. She came out and dressed in a peach-colored gown that looked simple but beautiful.

She left her room and went to the kitchen to eat. On getting there, she didn't see the maid inside preparing breakfast bu
