Alfred furrowed his brows at Aviannah. "W-What? Beast?"

"Yeah. My own Beast. I mean... my own prince charming," Aviannah replied before taking another sip of her margarita.

"Wow," Alfred muttered in amazement before drinking from his own glass. "So, you're looking for your true love?"

"Isn't that what everyone wants? To find the one who will truly make their heart race? Not just agree to marry someone they don’t even know," she said.

"Well, you have a point," he agreed. "That’s why I’m doing everything I can to get to know her," he added.

"What? Don't tell me..." Aviannah squinted at him, while Alfred suddenly looked nervous.

"W-What?" he asked anxiously, swallowing hard.

"Don't tell me your parents also arranged for you to marry someone you don’t even know?" she asked directly.

In an instant, the nervousness on Alfred’s face disappeared, replaced by a small smile. "Do you think so?"

"You said it yourself," she pointed out.
