“Here’s a phone for you, Avie,” Sandra said with a smile as she handed her a paper bag. Aviannah’s face immediately lit up as she happily took it from her.

“Thank you so much, Sandra!” she exclaimed before quickly opening the bag and pulling out a brand-new phone.

Ever since she had returned home, her father had strictly forbidden her from having or using a new cellphone. On top of that, she had no freedom to go out after classes since their driver always dropped her off and picked her up. Her world had been reduced to nothing but school and home. That was why she begged her friend Sandra to buy her a new phone—not for trivial things, but so she could try to find and contact Andrei.

Because of her father’s tight restrictions, she had no way of going back to Palawan to visit the people who had sheltered and helped her. So, she could only hope to reach Andrei or hear some news about him by searching through social media.
