Laying on his bed, his lower body was hanging on the edge of the bed. One of his hands was covering his eyes while the other one was resting behind his head. Darkness was just not revolving around him, in his room but also in his head and thoughts.A gentle knock on his door invaded into the darkness of his thoughts whereas that soft tinkling of the bracelet made him aware of that person's presence at his door. Without removing his arm away from his eyes, he spoke, loud enough for that person at his doorstep to hear his approval."Get in," Swallowing hard, Kaya stepped inside his room, after hearing his approval. She just took a couple of steps inside his room and then stopped herself, by finding him laying on his bed, especially in that position. Who sleeps like this? Hanging half of his body outside the bed…she internally scoffed at the position of his body until"Does your uncle Damien know that you love eavesdropping other's conversations?" Kaya's eyes widened when he uttered t
Kaya wrapped her palm around his hand which made Zian turn around and looked at her. He saw her gazing at him a little openly now, like the fear and nervousness she used to feel around him had started lessening. She had finally started opening up to him. Zian found Kaya holding his palm in her tightly and then she attempted to take him towards the bed which he fluently accepted and let her drag him towards his bed. He saw her grabbing those chocolates and candies from the bed and then she divided them into two equal portions. Holding his hand in her once again, Kaya placed one portion in his hand and shoved the other one in her pocket. Zian watched her finally smiling at him. A warm and alluring smile which she gave him for the first time in their lives. "Thank you," she mouthed, clear enough for him to get it in one attempt. Kaya closed his fist and then left it. With a smile on her face, she greeted him goodnight and then walked past him. His icy blue eyes watched her gettin
Running away from him, Kaya entered the kitchen where she saw her aunty Zia was working."Kaya? Good morning, baby," she said to her. Kaya flashed her a smile. She glanced at the door to make sure he was not following. What had just happened? He called her….. even just by thinking about it, her face was turning hot."Wow, my baby is looking so beautiful in this dress," Zia complimented her. Kaya smiled before walking towards her. Kaya saw her aunt pouring juices in the jugs for everyone for breakfast. She also started helping her aunty Zia until"Have you used a blusher on your cheeks, Kaya?" Zia asked, noticing that dark tint on Kaya's cheeks. Kaya swallowed before shaking her head in a no."Then why is your face so flushed? Are you alright?" Zia placed her palm over her forehead and checked her body temperature. Kaya told her that she was fine and it might be just the weather which had caused her cheeks to flush. She lied, exactly knowing why she was blushing so much."Okay….you kno
"I will look after her," Everyone was aghast, hearing Zian. They just couldn't believe what they had heard, especially after knowing about his past disliking towards her. All of their faces wore a stunned reaction which made Zian sigh."I mean, if she is comfortable with this idea of staying with me, then I have no problem in looking after her in your absence," Zian uttered. Everyone just heard him."Besides, I think she will feel more comfortable in her own home than staying in someone else's house. That's my opinion and if you don't agree to this, then I am fine with it," he asserted, casually. Damien trailed his eyes towards Kaya and waited for her response.Damien noticed that hesitancy on Kaya's face and he knew the exact reason behind it. Damien suspired before looking at his son."We appreciate your help, Zian, but I think Kaya will feel more comfortable with Leo and his mother, so she is going to stay with….." Damien stopped himself from completing his words when he heard Kay
Beautiful and calm waves of air were stroking against her body and face, as he was moving the swing gently, creating an alluring serenity around her, but her heart was not at peace because her mind was completely engulfed with the thoughts of her grandpa, Zale's surgery. She was just hoping that everything would turn alright as soon as possible. Kaya was looking at the night sky and even the stars were not visible today because of the inky clouds which had covered the sky. For a brief moment, a comfortable silence continued to prevail between them but suddenly he stopped moving the swing. Kaya saw him coming forward and then he sat beside her on the swing. Again the swing started motioning back and forth tenderly. Kaya didn't turn her head to look at him but then she felt him placing his palm over her. It made Kaya finally tilt her head and look at him. His tender gaze was already on her. "Everything will turn alright soon. Don't worry," he assured her. Kaya softly sighed and just
After they both left their home, they reached a nearby restaurant within ten minutes. Zian pulled his car in front of a restaurant and then got out of it. Kaya was removing her seatbelt when she heard him opening her side's door. She looked at it and found him opening the door for her. So, he has turned into a gentleman too. It brought a smile to her face. Removing the seat belt, Kaya got out of the car. She looked at that restaurant in front of her and beamed. It was the very first restaurant where her uncle and aunty took her for the first time for lunch together. From that day, they had come to this restaurant a lot of times."Let's get inside," his voice took her out of her thoughts. Kaya looked at him and nodded gently. She was about to walk towards the entrance but her feet stopped when she felt him wrapping his palm around her hand. Kaya looked down towards their hands and saw him holding her hand tightly. His fingers were trying to get intertwined with hers which made Kaya tra
With her slow and gentle strides, Kaya reached the door which leads to the garden of the house, but she didn't step outside. Kaya opened the glass door and watched him standing under the rain. The rain had started falling more heavily now. The clouds were roaring loudly and even the shiny lights were scattering all around the sky."Come outside," his voice gained her attention. Kaya darted her eyes down from the sky and looked at him. She saw him gesturing to her to come outside, but she shook her head. She told him that she was fine standing there.Zian rubbed down the water from his face and then walked towards her. "Let's go. It will be fun," he said to her, but she declined."Why? Don't you like rain?" He asked her, curious. She bobbed her head in her response."Then?"he further questioned. How would she tell him that she was afraid of thunderous light flashing and scattering in the sky from her childhood because there used to be a time when that nightmare of her life, Paul, used
Her silent whimpers faded against his chest as she was hugging him tightly. Her arms were rigidly wrapped around his back. Her body was shivering, but his figure had frozen from the second she had embraced him. He didn't know why she was crying. He had no clue of the reason behind her terrible meltdown. The rain continued to pour on their shipping bodies. A cloud roared loudly which made her flinch and the rain started falling more aggressively. Exhaling a soft breath, he lifted his one arm slowly and then surrounded it around her quivering body. He finally hugged her back with his one arm. Zian placed his other hand over her head and gently started patting it in order to calm her down."Calm down, mi nena," his amiable voice and caressing touch brought a lot of relief to her fear and pain, but it was still hurting her. Kaya caged him with every might in her body and continued to weep because his embrace, his closeness, his presence was bringing a sudden kind of calmness to her. She
