The door swung open, snapping me out of my thoughts. It was Gabriel, holding a tray with a plate and a cup on top. I rolled my eyes, thinking he finally decided to switch with Hunter. Hunter had been the one bringing me food and medication. I didn't protest since I knew I needed to eat for my own well-being.

I didn't say anything, just gave him a look before diverting my attention elsewhere. "Eat and take the medication," he said.
