CHAPTER 50

The voices and banging on the bathroom door became reconizable, and I stood up, wiping the last of my pathetic tears, and unlocked and opened the door. "Katerina!

Are you okay?" Cliff jumped at me. I growled. "Mind? You're kinda loud." I snapped back. I didn't care at all, no guilt. I smiled again, ear to ear. Cliff forrowed his brows. "Kat..." Joel said my name like he didn't know it was me. I pursed my lips. "What?" I asked back. "You feeling okay?" He asked. I shrugged. " I'll let you know. In the mean time, I'm going to take a shower." I said, and closed the door in their faces yet again. I heard muffling again, urgent, confused voices, but they were cut off when I turned on the water, and finally started to relax.

When I got out, I looked at myself in the mirror. Nothing seemed different about me, I looked the same. Red hair, loose curls falling around my shoulders and back.
