I stood a few inches taller than Amy, I had been telling about how Lillian had showed up in the apartment and how I had treated her. It was frustrating the manner at which I spoke about it and when I got to the part when she hurried away it got her laughing.

"You mean, you got her to leave." Amy looked at me Shocked.

As we were still speaking we heard Steve's car, the light filled the room and I listened as his voice filled the foyer.

Dennis, who had been distracted and quiet all this while, appeared to be the most excited as he dashed to meet him where he was.
