Chapter 50 - Nefarious plans

Marilyn was pleased with the progress she had made. Aiden needed to learn a valuable lesson. He had been given an opportunity, and he had snatched it away from her. Nobody has ever refused her! He had hurt her ego when he married Sydney. She'd always thought of him as hers. When they were dating, they had such a good time. He was well-to-do, attractive, and of equal standing. Her father, who had previously thought of her as a disappointment, was overjoyed when she told him Aiden was her boyfriend.

Everything was going perfectly when her one mistake ruined everything. She thought back about the night when she had ended up with two guys, after a night of drunken debauchery. Those guys being Aiden's friends made things worse. It wasn't a big deal for Marilyn, she didn't realize Aiden would be so prude. Despite her pleadings, he broke up with her. Saying, he couldn't stand cheating.

It was an oversight. She should have realized Aiden was too much of a man, he was jealous and possessive.
