The missing baby

Diego  appeared baffled why she is looking for the baby girls who was beside her.

"Diego where is my baby.?" She repeated.

"I don't know? We are out of the house trying to control the flood from reaching our house."

"Diego one of the baby is missing!* Mira started to cry  she  already have names for each of the baby she gave birth to.first one was Alexandra,  the second was Brianna and the third was Cassandra the frail and smallest of all.

"Which one?" He said confused  how come any of the babies went missing since there were nobody was with them.

"Cassandra is missing!." Mira replied in between sobs.

"Cassandra who?"

"The baby the last one, she is missing!" Mira replied crying.

"Mira are you sure there was no one who was here!  How can it be that the baby would be missing it would be impossible for a new botn baby to crawl out of the house!" Diego related.

Mira for a time she grieved for her lost baby they tried to find the baby but to no avail. Alethea and Diego consider it a vision only that the third baby was just a figment of their imagination just a  play by the spirits to test on their sensibility and the emotional capacity of Mira.

As days went on they live away from people, she experienced difficulty in raising two of the triplets but her mind never forget the little fragile, frail and weak baby she gave birth to on that night. After she give birth, Lila return and from there on she help Mira to balance her material side and spiritual as well as other aspect of her being.

As the twins grow up Mira observed the idiosyncrasies of each of the twin. Alexandra  since she was born didn't feed in her milk during breastfeeding time., Instead of sucking on her breast for milk she bite her and suck on the wounds.

She understand that she inherit her traits from her father the vampire king. Mira at first thought that she had to end the life of her daughter so afraid that she will be the answer to the prophecy that the vampire king wants to achieved but when the opportunity came she cannot do it because of her maternal instinct. Instead she raise and feed Alexandra with the blood from animal they raise but later on the child learn to eat food just like them.

While the second baby Brianna  grow to develop an unusual strength that Mira didn't know where she got this incredible strength. But she continue to guide the twins with the help of Alethea, Diego who acted as a father figure of the twins and Lila who trained them to tap thier powers as white witch teach them to make spells and concoct potions  but with strict supervision and prohibited them to use their powers for personal gain and harm any being . 

They ingrained to the twins the fear  of the supreme being that rules all over the earth  and raise them to be a compassionate and good person. But one day Mira was appalled when  Alexandra had broken one of their private rule.

The twins reach their tenth birthday Mira discovered that Alexandra  went to hunt for food and brought along her twin.  Both of them  fight a pack of wolves and killed every one of them with Alexandra's speed and Brianna strength they were successful.  Alexandra had her fill with the food of the pack. While Brianna looks on.

"Yuck"that was the most awful food I taste." She said to her sister.

"But didn't you said you were hungry?" Brianna said. 

"I'm starving the food Mama provide can never quench what I crave." Alexandra replied. 

"Andra you should control your craving Mama will punished us if she will learned from this." Brianna warned her twin sister. 

"I just can't help it Anna I tremble and drool over the smell of blood that I want to taste it." Alexandra declared. 

"You know Andra you should try much harder or we will be in trouble if Mama and Papa will hear of this." She repeated. 

"What will put you on trouble if I learn about what?" Mira  suddenly appeared behind them she had been searching for the twins that she had to tap her powers to track them.

."Mama!" Both of them was surprised that their mother found them. "What is that on your cheek Alexandra?" Mira was appalled to realized that one of her fears came to reality.

"Mama I..." She began. Mira was appaled to see the traces of blood in her daughters " face body and clothes.

"You! both of you had done what I strictly prohibited you   to do." Mira was livid with anger.

"Mama! Andra is very hungry she is shivering from hunger. That's why we did it." Brianna tried to reason out and protect her twin.

"And so you help her with that and disobeyed what I had strictly prohibited you to do?"

"They attack us first Mama! We have to protect ourselves." Andra found her voice in fear that her twin will be punished together with her. Mira is a loving mother she showered her daughters with love and undersanding but she is also a very strict disciplinarian, fearing that her girls might inherit the cruelty and evil traits of their father.

"But that doesn't erase the fact that you disobeyed me and go hunting by yourself! If you didn't go on your own and told me what's the problem you will not meet this pack of rouges."

"Mama,  sorry, we let you worry this won't be happening again." Brianna said crying full of remorse.

" I hope you will keep your promise, but that doesn't mean you will be free from punishment from now on, until I say so you will be grounded . You will stay in your room and will not be allowed to go out your  food will be sent to your room . But Alexandra will go without food for two days  I will bound your powers so that you won't be able to use it  until you will be release  from your confinement."

"Mama can I take all the punishment  please spare Brianna." Andra knew that the most important thing for her sister is to be able to run freely in the woods. To be confine in their room means sadness for her and weakening her strength. 

"It's alright Andra, I am willing to accept the punishment We did it together anyway." Brianna replied

" No! Let this be a lesson for your disobedience, I'm not doing this because I like to, but for the reason that I have to."

"What is the reason Ma?" Alexandra is showing her rebelous streak.

" In time you will know." Mira said she think she have to rein Alexandra's rebelous nature. 

"How about now Ma! " 

" Don't you challenge me Alexandra! Now go, do as what I have told you." The mother and daughters made Thier way back to the house unknowingly that   some one has witness most of the incident, and tried to process everything.
